Uh-Oh. Some of our posters must have gotten to Jeff Goodman at Fox.

His headline: Flynn not the answer at QB for LSU

Give it a read, if you want to hear more of the same. :eek:ldskule::eek:ldskule:

I read that today and while he MAY have a point I can't give up on Flynn because I do believe he is the best QB for LSU right now. When the O-line returns to playing great and the receivers run proper routes and don't drop the catchable passes this team will be unstoppable.

Do you think that will be sometime this season??? Bc i'm getting a little tired of hearing when, if, blah blah freakin blah. When my a#&. We need to give RP and Scott more play time NOW!!!

As someone stated in another thread...its easy to say what doesnt work after the game is over....We all (correction those of us who are not in denial) saw what happened in this game. If we continue to play Flynn, we will not get one of these :crystal:

    Now.....:geauxtige Beat Auburn!!!

BTW...I'm not saying bench Flynn the entire game, just give RP a little bit more time on the field.

Not a great piece of writing, but at least it's an objective opinion. And an accurate one.

I can't believe said opinion is so controversial on this board. :nope:

Jeff Goodman is a senior college basketball writer for FOXSports.com.

I think I'll let our coaches decide what's best for the team instead of this a**clown.

And will these things make Flynn quit throwing behind his receivers? Not to mention heal his ankle enough so that he can step into any throw of more than 20 yards? When he can do those things, then he'll be the best QB for LSU.

If the O-line and receivers don't get it together it will not matter WHO the QB is in the game. RP can throw but if the receivers can't catch it does not matter who the QB is in the game. RP can run but if the O-line misses blocking assignments its all for naught. I know exactly what you are saying and during the KY game I too was yelling for a coaching change. I saw a couple games where rotating QBs worked well but after MF went down with the ankle it has not come back. I have seen MF perform very well at times this season and know he has the brains and athletic ability to win games,RP has also shown his ability so WHAT do the coaches do? When I see MF totally tank and not due to bad O-line play and dropped passes I will be ready for a QB change, until then lets spread the blame around. IMO.

We scored 27 points in regulation. For any team with a good defense, that should be enough. Yea, the offense hasnt been playing at full potential, but the blame (as i see it) goes to the defense. Get the defense back on track, and either of our quaterbacks will suffice.
    my 2 cents.

If the receivers ran proper routes the ball would not be behind them. MF looked pretty fast to me on Sat. You can't hang this loss on MF alone. If you want to pick apart one particular player for this loss you did not even see the game.:thumb:
