Case in point. Fox not allowing him to partake in the debate further breeds ignorant statements such as these.
It is not case in point. I am being realistic and you are delusional. Would I like to see him there? Sure. But I do not think it really matters. Now if this debate were months ago I might care. I can see other people's sides, but UNFORTUNATELY, this is the way our system of electing presidents goes.
How am I being delusional? The reality is that as long as these independent types have their voices quelled and labeled as crazy and insignificant by the ignorant masses, the current state of presidential elections will remain in it's hideous state.
But Ron Paul really is crazy. He has appeared on Coast to Coast AM and Alex Jones. He is in bed with the 9/11 conspiracy theorists and the truthers.
When educated people say this, it shows us the state of our country. It looks like we just aren't ready for the truth. Paul was right when he opposed Iraq and he has been right for a long time. Finally, I am beginning to think Ron Paul isn't going to win the race, but I do think he has woken up a lot of people and has started a movement. Remember that no other candidate is talking about the dollar as earnestly as Paul is. Remember it when the bottom falls out. Ron Paul isn't crazy, the world is. Maybe the truthers support the guy, but I believe there is a fine line between genius and insanity. Those folks may be misguided, but they are also striving for truth and are attracted to the loudest voice of honesty out there. I feel disappointed with many of the people of my country. Ron Paul has made me want to work harder to change the foundation of our current beliefs.
I'm sorry, but if you make an appearance on the Alex Jones show, much less two appearences, you lose all credibility as a presidential candidate. That guy says Dick Cheney hunts women from horseback on a private ranch in Texas. Similar things can be said for Coast to Coast AM. Presidential candidates do not go on the same radio programs as bigfoot researchers, conspiracy theorists, and ghost hunters.
When he gets shafted by the mainstream media, can you really blame him? Every time he's gone on Fox he's been laughed at and called a kook and Fox wasn't showing Paul last night when reporting the New Hampshire vote. No big deal? Why were they showing Duncan Hunter's results and not Ron Paul's? I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist, but there is no doubt that Ron Paul is getting very little play in the mainstream media, which shapes the minds of many voters. It really looks like Fox is trying to nix him from the public consciousness. Really, this is not educated reasoning. You're trying to make him guilty by association. Paul needs all the media time he can get and he isn't getting a fair shake from the big boys. And have you heard him talk on Alex Jones or Coast to Coast? The people that listen to those shows are just as American as you and if Paul is delivering the same message that he delivers to everyone else, what's the problem? I'm very upset with Fox's propaganda machine.
What a crock of nonsense. Articles are written about Ron Paul in major newspapers. He is interviewed on major networks. Several features about him have been aired on NPR. He gets as much coverage as any other minor candidate. He shouldn't hang out with Alex Jones and George Noorey if he doesn't want to be called a kook. He should also have workable plans to return to a minimalist government instead of kooky nonsense like “I’m going to abolish the Fed.” They did show Ron Paul's results. They were right on the ticker along with all the other’s candidates. A guy who gets 8% is going to get a lot of coverage. This is silly he is in the mainstream media every day. The best way to judge a man is by the company he keeps. Ron Paul’s company includes truthers, crypto zoologists, and a guy who says Dick Cheney hunts women and children from horseback. If he really wants to be President he cannot do this and be taken seriously. Time spent on a radio show with certified nut jobs does not aide his credibility or get his message out to the voting public.
hate to have to tell you this bud, but that aint gonna happen til this country bottoms out. and were not there yet. maybe if everyone loses 30% of the equity of their homes. maybe if there's another 9/11. maybe if china takes out norad. but we are not there yet.
He is often bashed or marginalized on the major media outlets. Especially on Fox. Some sources have been fair but quite a lot of negativity has been pointed towards Paul. Why, is he spreading conspiracy theories on those shows? Those listeners are as American as you - why should they be ignored or avoided? He has been marginalized by the mass media and it is a good chance to get his message out. What's so kooky about abolishing the fed? Didn't some great presidents do just that? It really seems the fed has been irresponsible and according to Paul as a Congressman he had more access to what the FBI was doing. I realize 8% doesn't deserve a lot of recognition, but when I saw Fox's ticker, they were skipping Paul and showing Hunter. I didn't watch much, admittedly. LOL, he wasn't ever taken seriously by most of the media. If this is the way you judge people, I guess you'd not be alone. He's had to fight the system the entire way to get his message out to the voting public. Many people haven't heard about him or what he stand for, and many more believe he is a kook because the talking heads said so and leave it at that. I don't understand why you are calling him names, I think both his foreign and domestic policies are spot on. And he isn't changing positions with the tide of popular opinion the way Clinton, Huckabee, Romney, and Edwards do.
