Seimone and Sylvia, benefitting from playing together at the University games this summer, led LSU to a 84-66 win over Everyone's Internet. Seimone had 32 points and Syl contributed 26 and 14 boards to help break open a tight game at the half. Quiana Chaney contributed 11 points and Schlonda Hoston added 8. In the highly watched competition between point guard candidates, Khaliah Mitchell contributed 5 assists to 0 TOs while Erica White added 3 assists to no TOs. Frosh forward Kristen Morris had 6 boards.
I do not usually reply to basketball posts during football season, but since you put it out there, let it be known that I am very proud of our lady tigers. I think that they are the best in the nation. However; I will not be paying attention to them or even the mens bb team until football season is over. GEAUX TIGER BB TEAMS... Looks like the Lady Raiders of TTU also play Everyone's Internet. Then 5 days later they play LSU in Lubbock (13th of Nov). The game should be on ESPN2 for those of you who do not travel with the women's basketball team. It will be number 13 against number 3, might have to take my daughter and her buds to that one.
These ladies are gonna be really good and fun to watch. Hope they can find another mighty-mite ballhandler to match last year's. Sure would like to see them win the big one to honor Coach Sue. :thumb:
They are a team made up of WNBA hopefuls and at least one former Olympic player. They beat USL by about 40 on Tuesday night.
