I think that Fowler will vote LSU #2. I think that he won't be alone. I think that we finally proved to the nation that we can win when our offense isn't clicking... I think we finally proved to the nation we can win when our defense has a pedestrian day (giving up 17 points is a bad day for us). I think we finally proved to the nation that we can whip ANYONE's ass, during the day, during the night, when the pressure's on, when we're struggling, when we're at home, and when we're on the road... We have reached the rare air, LSU fans...The air we've been bitching about all season...While putting up with Trev Alberts' comments about not having played anyone, or to the GameDay crew's comments about the better team not winning, to the constant upset choices by the other pundits... We have perservered through all of that, and reached LEGITIMATE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER status... Enjoy it, and enjoy the fruits of the labor of the hard working men that don the Purple and Gold pads for 14 Saturday's each autumn... Congratulations to Nick Saban, his staff, and most importantly, the players of LSU... You have represented your University in a proud manner, and you've brought to LSU what has come around before only once a generation... We are proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't disagree with any of that. The team has played great football this year, and did the fans, students, alumi, and university proud. Top 3 finish and 1 loss for the season is much better than I expected. Geaux Tigers.
