Fox Sports news just had an interview with a supposed BCS computer geek who confirmed what we knew all along. Even though the winner of the Sugar Bowl was officially crowned the NC, they still crunched all of the numbers and LSU still came out on top of USC. This was based on a better record (13-1 vs 12-1) against tougher competition. Unfortunately, e said those official numbers are not released, although he didn't say why. Nothing we didn't already know, but it was nice to see someone in the national media giving us some respect. Fox Sports news also said that on tomorrows show, they were going to announce a "virtual" winner of a USC/LSU showdown based on - you guessed it - statistics provided by a computer. I know it means absolutely nothing, but it's going to be interesting to see who they "determine" the winner to be.
