Sorry folks...but JR will not be playing at LSU next year. Close personal friends of JR have said he made it clear that he would be leaving school after the season. Call it a little inside info if you will..
Flynn will more than likely get the gig. I just hope we get RP out on the field in some capacity and on 2 or 3 series every game (call it a change of pace if you will). Too much talent to just be holding a clipboard.
I don't know, nor does anyone here. Whomever gives us the best chance to win should start, ESPECIALLY since it's an odd numbered year (thus the schedule favors us.) Personally, I hope it's RP. Flynn is nice, but RP has a higher ceiling. And an extra year of eligibility. And needs to show up that fool Sanchez at USC.
well damn.... All I did was ask a question and even put a disclaimer on it about it not being the best time of year to discuss this... I wasn't knocking Flynn either, just voicing my desire to see what RP's potential is. Like the guy above, I think the ceiling is higher for RP.
That's absolutely ludicrous. I've already spotted our starter for 2015. He is nine years old and has the body of a 12 year old. His decision making is that of a high school freshman and he currently runs a 4.9 40 making him the fastest 9 year old or 10 year old in the state. He is an absolute stud! Why in the world would you want to bench this kid. You're obviously an idiot. :hihi::hihi::hihi::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
If Russell leaves, then Flynn and Perrilloux will compete for the start in the spring, like everybody else. Best man wins. If neither QB separates himself, then Miles will go with the senior with more experience. Perrilloux must take charge if he wants to start next year. If he's only "as good" as Flynn, he'll be the backup, but get a lot of playing time. Russell will go pro. He's definitely going to be drafted and he'll go. He'll be the All SEC quarterback this year and he's probably done all he can do here. Dorsey is the one that I hope stays for another year. He has a chance to be an LSU All-American. I thought Clayton should have stayed for his senior season for the same reason. Now, as good as he was, he'll never be on an LSU all-American list.
I have heard a few times that Flynn is the most mobile of the 3. I read somewhere that he is the fastest and most fearless (as far as taking hits while running). having not seen RP play or move a whole lot yet, We kinda have to take other people's word for it.
I have seen RP play in high school. He is very fast but I am not sure who is faster. I do know that RP has more agility and can make people miss. He is great with the roll out pass. He darts to a sideline and likes to buy time and hit the 30 yard pass. I remember his 1st spring game at LSU he hit 7-7 30 yard and over passes. The best play I saw him make in HS was when he got hit in the gut on a roll out pass and was lifted off his feet. With just his shoulder the threw a 40-50 yard game winning TD in the playoffs. Cant wait to see him play in the next few years.
