To all you people that hen pecked Matt for every poor performance in the passing game, and called for the increased action of the "obviously more talented" Perrilloux, this game should shut you up for the rest of the year(I can only hope). Matt Flynn throws 22 of 34 for 314 yards. DESPITE - 3 dropped perfect passes to Lafell(interception because of this), 1 dropped pass by Byrd, 2 by Holliday, and even 1 by Doucet. Perriloux responsible for a fumble and nearly an intercelption as a result of just flinging it up for grabs. "Why don't they let Perriloux throw it more????" I hope this shuts all you naysayers up for the rest of the year. Every single failure and stall of the offense was directly attributed to the Oline(see right side), or simply dropped passes by the reciever corps. Once they finally caught passes, Auburn had to respect our offense, and the run worked. Thank you EARLY DOUCET for finally coming back and showing us how it should really be! MATT FLYNN IS THE MAN!!!! :crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal::crystal:
Fylnn and his healthy ankle showed AU his big 12-pounder! :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
No doubt about it after this game. I admit that I was one (of many) who wondered why #15 got the PT he got when he was hurt. When he's healthy, he's clearly the #1 QB. Tonight, he showed that he's back from the ankle injury, and he looked great. RP, on the other hand...
Looking back, now that we've won, at least he learned a few valuable lessons for when its his time. -When running don't hold the football like a loaf of bread in traffic -Don't throw the ball up for grabs, throw it away
I couldn't agree more! The next time I see some azz-clown saying play RP more, my response is gonna be STFU. I'e said it before and I'll say it again, nothing beat senoir leadership in big games!
