and why would they not? this could be edge LSU needs against a very (more?) balanced team - inattention - a lack of focus.

Think about it - Bama (home), LSU (home), Auburn (away - Doh!), Georgia (auto-win) - in a row. Clearly the gators are mentally focused on Auburn.

so - maybe they lose two in a row.

    Let's hope it's a loss then a win.

the Florida team will be focused on LSU......some fans from the florida board have been talking about a top 5 matchup next week at AU, but thats just the fans....THE TEAM IS IN NO WAY GOING TO LOOK PAST LSU!

Agreed. Playing 4 teams as tough as Fla. faces, in a row, there is only one way to play it. That's "ONE GAME AT A TIME". I don't think for one minute that Fla. is looking past LSU to Auburn. Wouldn't be reasonable. LSU has plenty of reputation. Solid defense, very good passing attack, weak running game, good special teams.

trust me - live in Orlando. spend a LOT of time in Gainesville.

Gators are looking toward Auburn. that will be their downfall IMO.

They won't need a downfall. LSU is the better team, plain & simple.

you might be/probably are right. just telling you what it feels like around here. Lucked into 50 yard line tix in the alumni section this year. (nothing else to do in north florida) . What it 'feels like' - is that UF fans are looking forward to the next 3 years. Last year was a throw-away. this year is training camp for a nationally ranked freshman recruiting class - but hey if UF makes a run in 2006 - then fine. It's all about the next 3 years here.

this year is write-off year number two. If meyers doesn't do somehing HUGE in 07 08 09 - then you willl see some real salty gaytor tears..........

watch for a Tebow vs LSU LB collision or two. regardless of who wins - you will be impressed by a 18 year old freshmen coming back for 3 more years. man among boys. He is like goliath among midgets - and a freshman!!

Gators are absolutely looking past the tigers.. Prediction tigers by 10. then Auburn trounces the gators after they are softened up. but watch out SEC the next 3 years. rising stars at UF. 10-12 freshmen playing every game.

I just hope the Florida fans enjoyed this week in the top 10. They'll be glad to be in the top 20 after LSU and Auburn get a hold of that ass.
