I love to cook, matter of fact, I am pretty good at it. I have a question about fish on the grill. I have tried Pam and other cooking sprays. I have tried foil, but it takes too long to cook with foil under it.

Whats the best way to get a fish that is naturally flaky from breaking up on the grill.
Im not talking about Tuna steaks or salmon steaks. Those stay together always.
But what about catfish or perch?

Get yourself one of those baskets that close on a fish then grill it. Fairly common at a grill store or maybe even wall mart.

Have you tried poking holes in the foil? Thats what we do.

Target has them too...so does Lowes...makes sure you can CLOSE it so you can flip it
I think its a pain in the butt to clean myself so I use a teflon baking sheet a lot of times, we have 1 designated just for the grill...I just put it on the grill as if I were baking it in the oven...but you gotta watch it closely or it will bake on the pan

Foil w/ holes, like batgirl said, works great too
Whens dinner? I can be there in about 2 1/2 hrs!:thumb:

Rub a raw onion half on the hot grill (gloves needed). It cleans the grill, helps the no-stick and adds flavor.
