This is my first time traveling to Oxford. Any info on where to stay, places to avoid etc. would be deeply appreciated. By the way, if when we beat Ole Missy does that mean we've finally beaten somebody this year ?

Stay in Memphis or Tunica. I would prefer Tunica - the amenities are excellent. There is no way staring in Oxford would be of any interest to anyone. You can see the whole town in 15 minutes.

Oxford is a good place to walk around during game day. I went years ago for a few road games while at LSU and had a lot fun. It's not a crazy college atmosphere, but the food is good and people are nice. It is a laid back road trip kind of thing.

Trust me, walk around the campus if you get the chance, it's a nice looking college.
