Blah, blah, blah. Who cares what they say. I'd really like to know what the hell these guys get out of raggin' on CLM. We all know you can throw out the Tennessee lost plus the rest of the 2005 season. I find it to be one hell of an accomplishment, and a testament to CLM's leadership abilities, that despite Katrina and its distractions, we were still in contention for a championship. I guess some of these people will never understand. They'll all be on the bandwagon sooner or later.
If these numbers will put you on the hot seat, I'd hate to see what you need to stay off it. If LSU fires CLM for going 11-2 next season with no SECCG or MNC, who the hell is going to want this job?
The reality is probably more to the tune of five more years of 11-2 before any "decision maker" would even consider if CLM has plateaued. Even then you are gambling on another prospect doing better and still being consistent. This brings me to my next op. I would rather be consistently very good than a flash in the pan every 10 years or so. Hope he stays and continues bringing us hard-earned success. I can only hope the majority remain loyal and humble enough to not give him reason to seek better terms elsewhere. Later, Fur
