I do believe Saban will remain on Top. http://www.al.com/sports/mobileregi...standard.xsl?/base/sports/104228011629130.xml
I disagree with him on one point. We did look dreadful against Alabama and Auburn, but not against Texas. Texas was ranked somewhere in the middle of the Top Ten, and we gave them a freebie Touchdown. Not to mention the players who did not play, and we still had some chances late in the game.
Yes we did play better against Texas than the score would show. But Saban got his #1 rank with his recruitng, Next year it will be his winning record and a SEC Champion Ship. Then recruiting will great once again. Then another winning season. Can anyone see a pattern building here.
Finbaum I dont care if this guy picks LSU as the greatest school ever he is a NO GOOD radio shock Jock he holds no water in his Polls or statements. I live in Louisiana but I spend a lot of time on the road on business and pick up Mr Finbaum on the radio and he has no credibility in my book. Thank you but no thanks
Red's list I'll rank the coaches this way: Top Tier = Saban, Richt, Holst Middle Tier = Nutt, Fulmer, Zook, Tuberville, Price Bottom Tier = Sherrill, Cutcliff, Brooks, Johnson
I'm confused to how Holtz could be considered a top tier coach in the SEC. He has been at USC long enough to see some results - and last year was pretty much horrible for them.
Considering what Holst had to deal with when he came to USC, he's done alright, especially in the east division the last few years. He's paid his dues at Notre Dame and Minnesota and don't forget he coached well at Arkansas which is now an SEC school. He may near the end of his career, but it has been a distinguished one.
