Someone needs to copy/paste or forward thos disrespectful, mocking comments about Saban/Louisiana to Nick's email address. At least let him know the differences between his fanbase.
Tigerskin, Thanks for the link. Good one. Most of those fin fans sound arrogant without justification, looking at their record the last few years. They're profane, and disrespectful of coach Saban and his family and dismissive of LSU and the choice IT represents to Saban. Frankly, they don't sound like they deserve coach Saban. He won't factor it into his decision, unfortunately. Far greater maturity and respect for what coach Saban has accomplished has been demonstrated by the Tiger faithfull, the vast majority of whom will wish coach Saban the best, if it is his decision to depart. I am proud of my Tiger bretheren on this one.
Have a problem with something I said? Sorry, but I stand by my comments 100%. I love Nick Saban and I can't hope he comes here, but what kind've man makes the turning point in his decision because other people(fans) suck up to him? I doubt it's true, but I was just basing this off of the "what if's". Got It? = MIAMI BOUND!
A person reconsiders a lifelong dream because he sees how he affects others, he decides that means more to him than his own dream... I cannot find a negative in that. If Saban turns down a great Dolphins offer and double the salary you will not hear me criticize the man. His sentiments seem genuine, and Saban seems very connected with LSU fans, he knows how much we love our University and the pride we take in its success. I like the guy and always will, he is a class act.
