Those can be good too but a lot of stores bake their own brand and some of those are not as good as the brand name.

Is this thread about QB's or bread? Franks is a top notch prospect with a good head on his shoulders. Home made bread will always be best.

I meant I wonder if Franks will run from the pistolette formation.

Well, if our QB play is like it's been the last decade, sans Mett's year, then I would just as soon have them run the wishbone. At least I wouldn't be anticipating a competent passing attack, and would feel less frustrated.

LB'S are too fast in this day and age. It was innovative in its time but would never work today.

You're using success as a factor in formation choice?

Well, I was being facetious. Point being, if I expected no reasonable passing attack, maybe I'd feel less frustrated and disappointed in the 140th passing attack in the FBS.

Yep, Shea Patterson won the MVP of the E11.

BTW, have you ever seen tape of Franks? He looks more like a "Pro-Style Guy" that has mobility in the pocket. I wouldn't call him a "Running QB."

What with LSU's recent QB problems, would liked to have seen both of them playing in P&G. It's a slap in the face and embarrassing that Louisiana has the # 1 ranked QB in the country and he commits to one of our SEC rivals. That's unacceptable. And yeah, I know he's not a Louisiana native, but that doesn't matter. He lives and is currently playing football in Louisiana.

You do what you have to do to get him in here. Keep and promote his brother on the staff. Bump Ensminger to Admins and let Sean (Patterson) coach Tight Ends if necessary. You don't just let Sean walk away to Ole Miss and lose Shea in the process.

That being said, the "Miles-Jefferson / Haslet-Brooks like joined at the Hip with Big Brother" thing bothers me with Patterson. You don't ignore it like Miles did though. You deal with it to make your football team better.

Both Patterson AND Franks at LSU in 2016 (Even as freshmen) along with Etling, Jennings, Harris and McMillan would have been very competitive and go a long way in starting to solve the QB dysfunction.

Of course, this will be a moot point if Brandon Harris transforms into "Jameis Jr" in 2015, as everybody is hoping and expecting for. No guarantees though............................

Not exactly. He grew up in Texas and only moved recently to Louisiana to play football in Shreveport. And he's not there any longer. He moved again to Florida to play at a big time football prep school this year.
