I like the whiter fish. Specifically flounder, snapper, grouper, and trout. Also fresh mullet and crab. Anyone that eats King Mackerel should be shipped to Guantanamo Bay.
the obvious: boiled crawfish, boiled crabs and boiled shrimp... not seafood but there's nothing better than good fried catfish imo.
You really should include sheepshead, and sea cat in that mix. I would rather slither naked across broken glass than clean a mess of sheepshead, but dam their good eatin' I love oysters just about any way they can be served. Raw, fried, in a gumbo, etc. etc. HOWEVER There's a restaurant near Corpus that sells "Oysters on Ice". It is the single most repulsive thing I have ever seen. They bring you a mound of oysters just chilling on top of ice cubes. It literally looks like someone's half liquified brain on a platter.
i do too. however, i am partial to raw oysters in particular. it may have something to do with not having them readily available here, i dunno. but i could go for a couple of dozen as a bed time snack right now!
