Going to Starkville this weekend I had to remind myself that most road games DO have fun atmospheres!:lsug: :geaux:
I'd have to go with LSU VS Ole Miss in Jackson, MS 1975. Woodly/Ensmiger and Robiski (Spelling). Not to mention it was my very first Tiger game and only road game. I remember going to lunch before the game, it was full and this Tiger fan across the way, stood up and yelled "Go To Hell Ole Miss" Go To Hell. I think the employees were nervous, because it turned into a chant between fans of both schools. I was excited and bet your a$$ I joined in.
97 at bama. 28 nothin. We sat in the bama student section in our purple & gold, going bananas & nobody said a word to us. Could that happen in Tiger Stadium?........ uhhh no.
96 AU 97-Bama--what was funny was at that game they decided to honor the baseball team that made it to the National Championship game only to lose to LSU. what genius in their athletic department decided to honor their runner-up team in front of the team and fans that were the ones that beat them.
Lets see... I went to 42-0 Miss St game two years ago but thats nothing... I went to Kentucky last year. I also went to the Swamp. I know those two would be hard to decide b/t but then I tell you I went to the SEC Championship game and the Sugar Bowl 2 years ago. So you decide.
LSU VS UK That was awesome the Hail Mary it was great. The VT Turkey game was fun except for the the final score. The night before the VT game the cops came you all know that story but, in the RV section a VT fan showed up early and said a friend called him and said "you have got to see this" so he got up and came down no one had ever brought so many fans to that campus ever. Bye your next
