The University of Arkansas Athletic programs have always been an asset to the state, the University and the people of Arkansas. Recently, the management of the athletic department by the Athletic Director and the Football Head Coach has cast a pall over this once proud institution to the point where the UofA Athletic Dept is now a liability rather than an asset.

While fans acknowledge the numerous contributions Coach Broyles has made over the years in his leadership of the athletic programs, the time for new leadership has arrived. Thank you Coach Broyles for all you have done. Please do not continue to overstay your effectiveness

Although fans also acknowledge the 2006 football season as an improvement on the field, we are disappointed and embarrassed by the lack of control off the field in football operations. Coach Nutt who has been allowed the longest tenure in college football by a BCS conference school without appearing in a BCS bowl game, does not provide the consistent leadership the football program needs in the very competitive Southeastern Conference.

We urge both of these men who have on numerous occasions vowed their love for the University of Arkansas and its athletic programs, to step down immediately.

Arkansas fans thought they were the best team in the nation before the LSU game. All we heard before the game was how bad they were going to handle us. It seems like once LSU shatters a teams dreams it's downhill for them from there. Tennesee was 10-1 before we beat them in the SECCG in 01'. The next season they went 8-5. And we all know what happened to Miami after we beat them in 05'. I can't wait to see how Arkansas responds to all this next season.

I didn't include them because they seem to have the same exact season every year. NBC wouldn't allow it to be any other way.

Oh man, I can't tell you how dis-heartened I was with the "fax" campaign. But, accurately stated until recently, it would be the BOT's involvement...something you can identify with also.

At least, neither of our fan base's have gone this far.

This quote was on the website:

"The Razorbacks have consistently had great teams with the ability to win the SEC Championship. We have not won the SEC Championship outright since the present leadership has been in place. It is time for a change."

Delusional........ since 1995 (my freshman year at LSU) I only recall two seasons where Ark was legitimately one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the conference, this past year and 1998, the year they started out 8-0. Maybe a few of those teams in between were better than I remember but I don't think so. Good teams yes, SEC championship teams, not to sure about that.

I think if we took a poll on this forum that most LSU fans would agree that Houston Nutt holds back this program moreso than helps it.
