...any day of the week. I like our inch-along, clock-munching, points-scoring, dependable offense much better than the quick-strike aerial attack of the JR days.
There is nothing as frustrating to a team that's down than a rival ball-control offense taking 8 minutes for a scoring drive . . . and they can't get their hands back on the ball. Ask Tebow.
and on the opposite foot, there is nothing better for a rushing offense in the fourth quarter than dominating time of possession 60-40.
I should edit: I love it until we're down ten with four minutes left, ala 'bama (little play on words for ya!). Chad Jones can come eat at my house whenever he wants!
Hatch can throw the ball almost 50 yards. He was seen launching one estimated at about 47 yards. He got a good plant and rotation and it wasn't a tight spiral, but it got there. If they crowd the line, HATCH CAN BEAT EM with a long ball for 6. A long ball is considered over 25 yards. Lee & Jefferson can air it out significantly longer, with Jefferson about 70+ yards. I do not know where of this 25 yard nonsense came from, but the information is bogus, that's all I gotta say about that! Flame away!
There is no doubt that Hatch can get the ball down the field, but if you have looked at any film of Hatch/Lee throwing together, you will clearly see a significant difference in velocity. What difference does this make? It could be the difference when a SEC cb is breaking on a ball. It will always be better to get the ball to your receivers more quickly. Now, going hand in hand with that will have to be accuracy, touch, and decision making. The QB that has the highest measurables in all of these will get the most snaps. All that aside, Lee has a much better arm then Hatch. Film shows it.
