http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/fahrenheit_911/ I want to see the movie...I don't agree with it but I do think it may be interesting to see it.
Micheal Moore is one of the few people in this world who I hope ceases to exist. Good luck watching his mindless garbage.
I would refuse to see it even if it was a good movie because I don't want to be responsible for putting even one dollar into Michael Moore's pocket.
if he was a conservative making these types of movie slanted the other way would you see it? I thought so......... I have no plans to see it, have not seen one of his movies yet. overated (clap clap clap clap clap) overated (clap clap clap clap clap) overated (clap clap clap clap clap) overated (clap clap clap clap clap) :hihi:
i think your use of the word slanted is a tad off. Any writer slants their movie since its their personal view of something.... to outright be treasonous (sp) of your country and outright lying to make a buck is about as low as you can get.
There are plenty of liberals in the entertainment industry who give their work a liberal slant but Moore goes way beyond that. Its one thing to try to influence people toward your own point of view and quite another thing to be outright traitorous. Look at it this way: If Martin Sheen, Tim Robbins or Sean Penn were to reverse their liberal philosophy 180 degrees toward the conservative slant they would be about as far to the right as Rush Limbaugh. If Michael Moore were to reverse his philosophy 180 degrees he would be as far to the right as Adolf Hitler.
I'm not afraid of seeing someone's documentary. All documentaries are essentially one directors view on a subject and a viewer can take it or leave it. But I don't like Moore's inflammatory style and political grandstanding. It tarnishes any legitimate efforts to make an entertaining documentary film. I'm with BengalB on this one. Like a lot of other movies, I'm not spending any of my money on this film. When it comes out on cable TV in 6 months, I'll see what it is all about. It's a free country and Moore can make any film he wants to, but I pay for entertainment, not for political preaching. When the film is free to watch, I'll watch it.
