This is a special about the LSU football team and its fans and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It is coming on Sunday, September 3 at 8:00 p.m. on FOXS. I thought people might wanna watch it.
I have to be truthful, I've pretty much had my fill of wathcing and reading Katrina related stories. I know that is probably a poor view of this, but I've just had enough of them and would be better off without thinking about all of the misery that was inflicted for a while, I face enough of the damage, rehabilitation, etc everyday and use sports as an outlet to get away from it.
I agree, however, LSU football will probably trump my not wanting to watch yet another documentary style program on Katrina.
I totally agree but for everyone else in the nation that dont have to deal with it is a great thing. There needs to be more things on tv about it. The nationaly attention span is about 3 months, once that hits people place it in the back of their mind, only to think about it once a year. Kind of like 9/11
It's the anniversary week. There will be intense coverage and then New Orleans will probably really be forgotten by the media. It may actually take somebody like Mayor Wonka to keep NOLA in the news.
I have also grown tired of watching Katrina stuff, but this is about the  football team and its fans, therefore I will watch it.
