I recommend that everyone get a TIVO with a DVD burner. They are now only 99$. I have tons of DVDs now and I dont have to keep buying the kids anymore movies and I have a collection of everything LSU.

If you already have a regular TIVO you can get another and you can record from any of the ones you own if you have a router connection. A second service only cost $6.95 a month.

As soon as they offer an HD Tivo with a Blu-ray HD DVD burner, I'll be there. :thumb:

Same here, but I might have to wait to buy it until the price drops. A HD TIVO is $799 now. I wasnt expecting that kind of price off the bat. Besides the HD quality the only extra feature is that you can record 3 shows at once while watching another.

Interesting world. I was watching that special this morning. I was thinking about buying a DVD recorder to go along w/my Directv tivo. I would replay the Tivod game and record it on the DVD recorder. Will this work and/or is the straight TIVO recorder better quality?

Thanks and have to have a W today!!!!!!!

I am not sure if that will work. The Tivo quality is very good if you copy it in best quality. I just takes up a little more memory to copy in best quality but doesnt matter if you record right away and delete it after.
