Has anyone seen this old movie? I feel stupid because I never heard of it till last night. We watched it on Showtime In Demand. It's about this player known as the "Grey Ghost" that played at LSU in the late 50's. Portions of it was filmed at LSU. It's a pretty good movie. It's mainly about "Grey Ghost" and his life through LSU then on to the NFL. Like I said, I feel stupid because I never heard of the darn thing.

That was filmed at LSU and around BR when I was there. I had friends that were extra's in the movie in the party at the lake scene. I haven't watched it in a few years. I may have to now, though.
I must be getting old. I was in Tiger Stadium when they filmed at halftime of the Bama game. I remember they wanted to continue filming after the game was over, but we lost and all the LSU fans left. They had to cancel the shoot. John Goodman fell in love with South Louisiana and later bought a home in New Orleans. Trivia question ... Who was the NFL player who broke Dennis Quaid's collarbone during filming?
Timothy Hutton ate breakfast at Louies almost every morning they were shooting in BR. He's actually a pretty down to earth fellow. Saw Quaid there once.
