Anybody recall what the highest preseason ranking we have had in the last 10 or so years is??

 

In the last 10 years 2004 the highest prior ranking in the AP at #4. I don't have access to 10 years of the Coaches poll but 2004 was probably the highest ranking for them too at #3.

 

It's not so much whether we're #1 #2 #3 or whatever, to me, I'll just be excited to see if there is a number in parentheses next to us. I don't know if we've ever had any #1 votes pre season recently. I can't remember if we did in 04 or not but it sure will be nice to see if we have some, which I think we will.
