ESPN radio just interviewed Kirk Herbstriet (sp?) and he called the LSU job a top 5 job in the country. I knew it all along, but am surprised that he agrees. He also believes that the job is too dynamic for a Les Miles or Petrino, and that Butch Davis is the best candidate that he has heard of so far. I can't say that I disagree. I am beginning to lose interest in Petrino and I already lost interest Les Miles.

We lose interest in a candidate, because his fans are mad at him for showing interest in our job, which puts him in a negative light.

    What is that? Irony?

I believe it's more of a poetic justice thing.

    .
If so, then it's gotta be an NFL coach. Don't have a cow if it ends up being Terry Robiske. You don't coach for 15 years in the NFL unless you're good at what you do.

We hadn't heard as much about Robinski until today.

It's the first I've heard that he's on the short list
