Following is the ESPN link predicting the women's field of 64, which has LSU going to Knoxville as a #2 seed. As Tenn. has had only 6 losses in 12 years hosting, I don't relish LSU being sent there. ESPN ranks LSU the "weakest" #2 seed on SOS and RPI. Assuming we win out the regular season and have a good showing in the SEC tourney (or win out there as well), would our RPI rise? Feedback anyone? http://espn.go.com/ncw/s/2003/0120/1495983.html
I think in the long run over the SEC schedule LSU's RPI will improve. The SEC has the #1 RPI in the nation and with us playing all SEC schools the rest of the way it stands to reason that the RPI can only improve if winning continues.
Beating Tennesse a must for #1 ranking if The Lady tigers beat the lady Vols and only lose one or two more games i think we will ge a #1 seed. but it would help if Uconn would stumble
