http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=forde_pat&id=2684392 This was an article posted on ESPN.com today. I read and for some reason got this feeling like i wanted to vomit. I'm just checking if I'm overreacting or if everyone else around here go the same vibe as me.
I'd say overreacting. It's not great, but it's not bad either. He wrote a nice article about us after Arky last week, I reccommend it.
I had ESPN Radio on yesterday, Mel said LSU was the most talented team in the country and had the toughest schedule, hence 2 blemishes on their record. Before you say, "Hey, they are coming around!", remember.... Today he would probably say something different if he had a new audience.
To me it just sounds like even though Florida and Michigan don't deserve a national title shot as much as USC did. I don't know, I guess all this USC man love over the past 2 weeks has gotten on my nerves. Maybe I am overreacting.
I thought the article was pretty fairly written. He noted the absurd Notre Dame "tradition" as well as the monstrous choke that USuCk pulled yesterday. It certainly did not evoke nausea for me. I kept looking for the LSU/SEC bashing but none to be found.
I didnt find anything he said wrong. All this Notre Dame tradition crap gets me pissed. They were overrated the whole season and still are. If LSU Notre Dame is what we got we have a chance to take out some frustration on Notre Dame and do it in a LSU crowded Sugar Bowl. After my initial upset at losing the Rose if that happens i am happy to be in the Sugar Bowl if that happens. Whats wrong with Louisville pulling for WV for help. I was sure as hell pulling for teams to help LSU during 2003 and was yesterday.
