This is the absolute best scenario I could have ever dreamed of. We needed a huge shakeup to make the BCS get off their asses. I cannot think of anything bigger than the #1 team in the polls to be left out. But our boys are in. Pinch me.
Believe it or not, if I were a USC fan, I'd get over my anger pretty quickly. They will be bringing a title game to the Rose Bowl this year, their home bowl. They will be spitting mad. They have a good shot at getting a split title regardless of the results in New Orleans. All they have to do is win in Pasadena. And then it is the mighty middle-finger for the BCS. The only problem for me is that these coullions out here probably would never let me savor an LSU championship assuming we win the Sugar. I would have much preferred an LSU-USC matchup for so many reasons. OU can blow.
