Bumping for morning after. Not sure if everyone saw this.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the Notre Dame bandwagon.

Well, everyone (from the media) has always been on it. Now that Weis is their coach, they are practically unbeatable, unless your team can win more than 7 games. :hihi:

I think ND top 5 is... expected. I mean, that's about all I can say. It's kind of reasonable because they will be ranked 10 spots higher than they deserve for the entire season.

The hype around the Ohio St - Texas match up is going to be unreal & probably deserved. I agree that these are the top 2 teams.

West Virginia - good team, but Over-rated! If it weren't for the 28 points Georgia spotted them, nobody would give a damn about them. However, they play in a weak conference so they will still have a good season.

You know USC isn't going to fall any lower than 5th for preseason polls. The way Pete has recruited the past couple seasons, I can't say I blame them. I think it's possible USC losses 3 games next season though.

Florida is a little overrated & part of the reason they are getting so much love is their current recruiting class. I sincerely doubt Meyer's system will suddenly work next season, but then again the SEC East is going to be down so it's tough to say.

I like Oklahoma as a top 10 team. The big XII is absolutely pathetic. They will be much improved.

Miami... toss up. It will depend on who Coker hires. The coordinators he fired were proven & I think that the replacements probably won't be as good.

Oregon top 10 is a little suprising after the beat down in the bowl game, but I guess I could see it.

If you're referring to Florida, the hype would have been there even if UF had lost to Iowa.

Urban Meyer remains an icon in spite of almost losing to Vandy and getting spiked by Spurrier.

The Gators have to play Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina next year. They have the toughest schedule in the SEC. And then they play FSU. If they end up at the end of the year at #7, I will be very surprised.

...wasn't referring to Iowa... just any team that won their bowl runs the risk of too much hype... West Virginia now stands out... and I agree with you on your Gator comment.

Why would Les waste his time with Phatass Phil when he can just ask his predecessor?
