FOXNews.com - EPA Issues Greenhouse Gas Warning Despite Concerns Over Leaked E-Mails I will ask you one question. Just who works for who here? With all the Global Warming-Climate change scandal going on the government is hell bent on pushing its agenda no matter what. This sets things up very nicely for cap and trade. I hope you don't mind paying more for everything, everything you buy will be affected by these policies. You might even lose your job! Imagine something your lungs exhale is now harmful to your health. I'm not saying its the case but just maybe it will lead up to population control. According to the man made global warming extremists people are bad for the planet. Examples: “A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.” – Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major UN donor “We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation There is more in my other thread.
FOXNews.com - Administration Warns of 'Command-and-Control' Regulation Over Emissions Quote: The Obama administration is warning Congress that if it doesn't move to regulate greenhouse gases, the Environmental Protection Agency will take a "command-and-control" role over the process in way that could hurt business. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In other words Obama is going to get cap and trade and healthcare, his agenda done with or without Congress. Runaway government and I do believe one could argue that this is against the Constitution.
Has anyone in this administration even heard of the Constitution? The EPA cannot usurp Congress. Period.
The EPA is working under Congressional authority established in Title 5 of the US Code. There is nothing unconstitutional about them addressing environmental protection and reporting it--it is their frigging mission. There is nothing in the EPS directors statements that constitute "usurping" Congress. There is nothing in the EPA director's statements that constitutes "warning" Congress. This is FOXnews creating a headline backed by no substance. Again, an "anonymous" source has suggested this to FOXnews. :dis:
But while administration officials have long said they prefer Congress take action on climate change, the economic official who spoke with reporters Tuesday night made clear that the EPA will not wait and is prepared to act on its own. Only Congress can make laws. The EPA cannot "act on it's own". The warning, from a top White House economic official who spoke Tuesday on condition of anonymity, came on the eve of EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson's address to the international conference on climate change in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sounds like a warning to me, Hoss. I interpret it differently. Of course, I'm not an Obamapologist.
The EPA can act within its mandate which was authorized by Congress and entirely within the law. Congress has the authority to make new mandates, which is what Obama wants, but the EPA is completely empowered to address environmental issues within their current mandate. The FOXnews "quote" from an anonymous "official" is not EPA policy anyway. The EPA directors comments are public record and she has said nothing like this. Read it again, Pa. The '"warning" came from the FOXnews reporter! It was an "anonymous" source that no other news agency has run with. The EPA Administrator, whose name is mentioned misleadingly in the same sentence, has issued no such warning. It's FOXnews manufacturing a story. Indeed not. You're a Bushpagandist.
