He's going to come close to breaking all the LSU single season QB records. It's going to be hard watching the defense, but don't let the tremendous QB play go unnoticed or unappreciated. On pace for 31 TDs and 3 Ints, 3355 passing yards (I do believe all LSU records).
To play the type of game he played under the circumstances and that crowd is awesome. Mett is in control. It's so nice watching this offense. Oline needs to step up the run blocking though.
It is fun to watch him do his thing this season. He's unflappable. Who was the last LSU QB to play this well?
Well no, actually Russell. Flynn's stats from 2007 aren't that impressive. 21 TDs and only 2400 yards. He threw 11 interceptions. He played "adequately" well. Nothing more. Russell has 28 TDs and 3129 yards in 2006. 8 interceptions
LSU will look like a Big 12 or Pac 10 team this year. All O and no D. Mett will obliterate the LSU record book.
Davey 3347 yards, but only 18 TDs and 10 Ints FYI, that was over 12 games, which included the SEC CG (only had 11 game schedule back then)
I didn't think he meant purely in stats. Although he didn't have the numbers, the offense under Flynn was smooth and we could beat teams running or passing. Was also thinking about Rohan.
