I'll tell you someone who does have an AP vote who is worth contacting: Chris Fowler. It seems like the ex-Scholastic Sports America host needs a little schooling on the Tigers since each and every time he talks about LSU it's with a very unimpressed tone. I wouldn't be surprised if he put us 4th in this week's voting.
I'm not sure about how Fowler votes, but LSU picked up 5 votes on USC in the AP and 4 in the Coaches Poll... LSU will be on CBS twice more, plus the SECCG ... voters are getting a heavy dose of LSU football. This team has an opportunity to impress voters!
I got some friends who live out west and I pimp out LSU football to them everytime we are on national TV. I got one friend who hates USC so he will be pulling hard for UCLA right along with us this weekend. BTW, USC is -22 over UCLA!!
I think that it could be worthwhile for Tiger fans to email the person for whom it would be most logical to have the LSU ranked #2: Scott Rabalais. He has probably seen LSU play every game firsthand and should know how dominant they are. Right now he is rank and file with other AP voters with OU #1, USC #2, LSU #3 and OSU #4.
