Early Doucet visited Miami this weekend. I'm sure that blow out of Syracuse really impressed him and he can't wait to catch passes from Brock Berlin. Seriously, has anyone heard anything ?
Yah I mean Miami completed 5 passes all day long! If that doesn't wow you, I don't know what would! I'm sure he also liked the fans booing, and the half empty stadium! Bwuahaha
The thug attitude really impressed him also. I have heard that he is a good kid, he would not fit in there.
Looks like Early might have some traitor in him: From Cane Sport Doucet Left Miami Visit Impressed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- St. Martinville (La.) star receiver Early Doucet arrived at the Orange Bowl on Saturday just after pre-game warm-ups ended. And he says he got a good vibe from the Canes immediately. “When I got there, coach (Larry) Coker came over and as soon as he saw me, came by and talked to me,” Doucet said. “We shook hands, he said he was glad to have me down there and I spoke to him again after the game and shook hands. “And (when I first got there) I started talking to Kyle (Wright) and some of the receivers came over and shook my hand. I thought that was real nice.” Doucet also spoke with receivers coach Curtis Johnson after the game. “He was asking me if I thought I could be part of something like they have and I said `Yeah,’” Doucet said. “It was just a friendly conversation.” Doucet said he spent most of his time at Miami with Wright. “We hung out the whole time I was down there,” he said. “I knew of him, read about him on the Internet. I talked to him before the game and we hung out the whole time (after). We got together after the game. We hung out, played some PlayStation 2 and hung around the dorms and stuff. He was telling me that I could definitely fit in (there). “We just talked about football. He told me about the school and stuff like that. For not knowing him, we kind of got a little friendship going on. He’s a real cool person to be around. I wouldn’t mind playing alongside him. We talked about him throwing me touchdowns at Miami.” Of Doucet’s overall feeling of the trip, he said, “It went real good. It was a 10. Even for it being an unofficial I would still rate it a 10. One of the reasons I went this weekend, being that I’m interested in them, is I wanted to go in gametime, see that atmosphere.” His official visit is set for Dec. 12. And what did he think about the atmosphere with the half-empty Orange Bowl and the lackluster passing offense on Saturday? “I understand why it was like that (half-empty), fans are so used to them winning and then two losses back to back -- fans at my school were like that when we lost two games in a row one time,” Doucet said. “The fair weather fans didn’t come again until we had another big game. It was still a big enough crowd for me to play in front of that crowd. “They’re going through some changes with a new quarterback trying to learn a new system so it’s going to be rough. Once everyone gets on the same page they’ll be back to the same Miami (offense) they used to be.” Of his favorites, he says it's even between three programs. “Miami’s up there, it’s still out of Miami, LSU and Oklahoma,” Doucet said. Then he adds, “But I’m having some pretty good feelings about Miami.” Doucet is playing quarterback, tailback and receiver this season. He has 700 yards rushing, over 600 passing yards and over 300 receiving yards. He has 17 rushing touchdowns, eight passing scores and three receiving touchdowns.

I say that in jest. I dont really think he is one, I would just hate to see him leave the state, especially to go to Florida. They have enough talent over there. Hopefully it will all work out with him being a tiger in the end.
