E-Mailing the writers is a BAD idea.

    You guys are going to piss these people off. These people are professionals and very busy. This just looks like an act of desperation by LSU Fans. Saban can make our case for the BCS better than any fan. These guys aren't going to listen to a bunch of e-mails from fans. You are just going to piss them off. Thanks for your consideration.:geaux:

    I wouldn't e-mail the reporters either.

    There is nothing wrong with e-mailing them and asking them how they would vote if LSU beats Georgia. It basically tells you if the voter is biased or not.

    WRONG. These guys getting slammed with e-mails from LSU people cuts into their job. It's like getting junk e-mail to them. Please don't bother them. Let Saban handle it. Thanks.

    If I got ugly emails from a group of fans, I think it could sway my vote.

    Now, I'm sure most of us wouldn't send ugly emails ... but I've seen a few here who wouldn't hesitate! lol

    Yeah, It would sway my vote also, to rank that team LOWER!

    These people may seriously consider LSU for No. 2, but I don't think it would be as a result of LSU fans emailing them.

    While i agree that it is possible to upset some of the pollsters with emails. Bad press is better than the no press that the Tigers are getting.

    Further, if what you state is true that the AP and Coaches polls will stay put if USC wins, while it may not help, what can it hurt??

    I guess if it's short, to the point, and respectful, maybe. But I saw one on here that took some time to read. Perhaps someone should ask the Athletic Dept. what they think. I'll leave it alone from here. Thanks.
