Me too, but this is not one of those times where the content of the thread at TB is a joke (sometimes they do that). One guy says he heard it on radio, could be old news...another guy says he has a 'source' and that he's out for game, or at least not starting. The person who says this is not know to run his mouth, but I can't remember any scoops from him in recent memory.
they said on pregame he is indeed out. SUCKS cause he was gonna be going against a 5'10'' cb...... oh well.
Isn't it nice to have lots of options though...we don't have to risk further (skyler-ish) injury to his ankle, we can sit him for 2 weeks now and have him ready for Tenn.
yeah it is nice. I think we will be fine. we only run 4 wr sets, never really any 5 but if we do we still have green, davis, doucet, carter, and addai can move to Wr or Bennie can play.
I hate it for Amp, he could have gotten some PT. LaFell was impressive too, he could pay in a pinch, but he probably won't be needed.
I just found out he was out at last practice, but they were hoping to get him back for the game. IMO, He probably could play if absolutely needed, but our depth at WR allows him to heal fully & not push it.
