The Kansas City Chiefs have made Dwayne Bowe the third-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL behind Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson
    ...
Bowe's five-year deal, signed on Monday just before the deadline to place the franchise tag on players, is worth a total of $56 million with $26 million guaranteed, according to a person who has reviewed the details of the contract.

He and Tamba Hali have really been the only players keeping this organization afloat over the past few years. He has put up good numbers considering the scrubs that have been tossing him the pigskin since he's been there.

It would be the best thing ever if the heavens opened up, and he ended up in NOLA. Brees/Bowe could be more lethal than Montana/Rice.

If he ever went to a team with a Brees, Rogers, Brady, etc. he'd be in the same conversation as Fitzgerald and Megatron. I know he got a fat check, but he fucked up by signing with KC again.

There's also a guy named Jamal Charles that hasn't been awful.

It will be interesting to see how he does with a decent qb. I think we all agree he's not the third best receiver in the league but he could become elite again with a good qb.

It remains to be seen whether said QB will be any good without Harbaugh.

Derek Johnson has also been solid but I left Charles out because he missed an entire season with injury. But you are right when healthy Jamal Charles is a top 10 tailback.
