Ive been a Tiger fan for 13 years (my whole life) and we are already going to the national championship. So many people have lived a lifetime and their Tigers never got to it. I just can NOT believe this, Win or Lose this season is never going to be forgotten by me or anyone. :geaux:

Maybe some Notre Dame fans are out there that can explain this to me? Some OU fans?

Yep...we have to bring our A+ game. If we play to our potential, I see no reason why we don't win this game....We will be ready to play...

I think so too. OU was at the same postition 3 years ago, so whats it matter to them they'll just come back in another 3 years. But, LSU hasnt been in this position in 45 years, WE ARE GONNA WANT IT MORE!

All I have to say is remember 2 years ago?

Remember the best qb in the big ten, Kurt Kitna?

Why is it everytime we play in a championship game under
Nick and Jimbo we set Records??

I predict we beat OU easily.................

Tigahs on a roll and I wouldn't want to be on the other sideline.

I've been a Tiger fan all of my life

39 years and counting. I have had a smile plastered on my face all day and I certainly am happy.

However, I don't feel like this is a dream come true. I always thought that if LSU made the BIG GAME that it would be. But I'm finding that while this may be a once in a lifetime event, it doesn't seem that way.

It's like I've seen this coming ever since Rohan and Josh drilled Bama in Tuscaloosa a couple of years back. The win over Auburn to close that season. I watched the replay of the 2001 SECCG Friday night and was reminded that was no fluke. We weren't lucky, we were just good.

There were some bumps in the road last year (VaTech, Auburn,) but I remember how dominant we were at Florida and at home against USC. The ball was rolling downhill and the day would come when we could not be denied. It's happened a little sooner than I thought but the time is now. Even when the Gators took us down in October, I didn't get that "here we go again" feeling like I have in times past.

I've said all that to say this: I've evaluated the football situation many times and thought: "If only we had someone in place who REALLY knew what they were doing then we could go places". Well, someone was hired at the end of the 1999 season. I was skeptical at first if he had it in him, but it's obvious that he has it in spades.

Thanks to Coach Saban and his family and Chancellor Emmert for making it happen.

Happy Hiolidays and GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!!!
