"If you don't learn from history, then you are doomed to repeat it!"

I must first be a nig person and say that I was wrong about Randall he played very well today hats off to him.

And I am in no way gonna bash Russell, but I will stand by my STATEMENT that this 2 QB system is gonna kill the team. And it reared its ugly head today. The timeing is off by so much its not even funny.

Pick a damn leader and stick to him, whoever that may be. If this trend countines then it will be a VERY long season.

Time and time again this system has been tried by some of the greats and time and time again it fails.

I really don't think that having 1 QB in there instead of a 2 QB system for this game would have made that much of a difference..... at least not enough of a difference to say it cost us the game....

....Saban knows what he's doing.....we just lost a close game to a good team...

    How can you say that

Most of the dropped/missed passes were because of timing. It is hard to get use to 2 VERY DIFFERENT styles of throwing. Plain and simple, we have 2 very good quaterbacks that can play for any team in the country. SO pick ONE and least win some games.

I'm going to have to call BS on that. Do the recievers run slower when one of the QB's is in the game? Does a 10 yard hook pattern become a 20 yard hook with the other QB in. Both QB's badly missed wide open recievers and after the first two drives neither got the job done. The passing sucked and so did the play calling.

If you have one guy that throws the ball with alittle more touch one it, Randall, and then you have a guy that thinks he is Randy Johnson, Russell. That fact only will drive a reciever nuts. Not to mention the ball gets there at differnet times in the route. Not to mention that players are looking at the Qb for leadership, there needs to be a bound. Why do you think that when a qb gets hurt the team takes awhile to adjust. BECAUSE they have to get use to the way he plays. The team is having to do this every damn time the step on the field.
IT CAN"T, WON"T, NEVER GONNA HAPPEN WORK! If we keep this up I don't think we will be Vandy much less anybody else.

Now that Auburn has one, I think it's time.

Now that we will dropping out of the Top 5, I think that it's time to go with the youth movement at the QB position and develop Russell and Flynn.

Randall has provided yeoman service to the LSU Tigers, and I thank him for his efforts. He has the honor of being one of LSU's QBs, and nobody can take that away. That's an accomplishment that most of us can't touch.

That said, I say that it's time to go with Russell and Flynn. They are the future of the franchise, and we need to give them all of the time remaining in this season.

    Who is with me?

It's usually because the 2nd team QB isn't nearly as good as the #1 QB. We don't have that problem, right now both of our QB's look very inconsistant.

whats with the dreaded 2 kicker system

How come every time i turn around we have a different kicker? If we are going to go with chris jackson as our long distance why don't we just stick with him on all of our kicks even the easier short FG's and PAT's....put it out of his head that every time he screws up we gonna put some1 else in and take away his rythme. Or do we have to start recruiting a extra point specialist, some one who can "gasp" make the dreaded 20 yard boot? I'm not saying we lost the game because of it but as a team we need people to step it up and take care of their end of the deal.

You got to be kidding me.

Really. So are you saying that Muack was no good since he backed up Davey.
If they weren't any good they wouldn't be on the team. They may not be AS good as the starter but they can play the game. Its all about the gule that holds a team together.

Okay then I would like you to name me a team that used a 2 qb system and had it work.
