Does Perrilloux get a shot this year? Matt Flynn?

We need someone with the intelligence to make decisions? We can't have another Aaron Brooks in this state holding the hopes of our football team.

I would hope they look at a player that can win and not make the same mistakes, game after game.LSU!

Man some of you sure do turn on players pretty fast....Russell was not anywhere close to the reason we lost this game. It was coaching and play calling!!

No way. JR didn't lose this game. I was over at Tigerdroppings and saw something that explains why.

JR can't make plays if he isn't allowed to throw the ball. One of the main reasons we lost because we kept the ball out of the hands of the guy who has done it for us time and time again.

You are exactly right but don't look for us to change coaches mid season.
I would hate to see Perilloux burn his redshirt to play for a coaching staff that has no clue how to use the talent they have on the field now.

Play calling had nothing to do with him bolting on the play before halftime, the missed opportunity for the FG was the diff. in the game. 100 mph passes don't help receivers that seem to drop lots of balls.:geauxtige

JR not throwing that ball away was the reason that we lost in OT and not regulation. Did the defense do anything to convince you that we could stop them on a 4th and 1 play? UT goes into the endzone on their last drive of the game if we were up by 6 instead of 3.

I don't seem the harm in going another route at QB.

JR has a ton of talent, but not a whole lot of game intelligence.

We have seen many average quarterbacks with game intelligence and a game plan that is molded to their abilities succeed at LSU and other SEC schools.

i wouldnt blame the players AT ALL for that sorry ass game last night....this coaching staff absolutely SUCKS!! i for one am VERY happy that we wont go to the rose bowl this year and meet USC.... with their offense, lol, and our coaching staff, it would be worse than the arkansas-usc game a few weeks ago......there is no excuse with this amount of talent we arent killing teams....imagine this for a second: if this coaching staff cant get it done with the talented players they have now, what the hell are they going to do when we have a mediocre team???? think about it.....:po:
