Since it looks like Michael Clayton will leave for the NFL according to Greg LaRose editor of LSU's Insider site Tigerrag. Do you all feel that Skyler green is a True Number 1 WR.

I'm a huge Skyler Green fan, but I feel as if he does his damage in the slot, where we can exploit his speed. Here is how my depth Chart would look:

    1. Amp Hill
    2. Skyler Green
    3. Early Doucet
    4. Dwayne Bowe
    5. Craig Davis
    6. Xavier Carter

Green has steadily improved this season and has turned into a fine reciever with big play potential. Look for him to play a major role next season. Amp was said to look great until the injury and Davis and Bowe showed potential but were stuck behind some very talented recievers. Doucet looks like a stud but Carter isn't in the fold yet. There is a ton of potential on your list but very little experience which means the depth chart could change early and often before the first game. Either way we have enough top flight talent that someone will step up when their number is called. Don't forget if Brazille ever learns to catch the ball he is lightning in a bottle and should know the system by now.

    I do not

Green is a stud athlete, but I don't think he's the guy you hang your hat on at WR. I think Amp Hill and Craig Davis will step up to be the players in a 3 receiver set with Green, with Hill emerging as the top target.

I think Hill will emerge as our go to guy. I think Bowe will also play a major role.

I think Greene is ready to step up. He did have some drop problems early in the season but got better all year.

Well I don't know about depth charts at this point, but LSU needs to figure out how to put the ball in his hands more with his running ability. Green reminds me a lot of Tony Moss, but only much faster.

I think when all is said and done Green will be the most accomplished in the NFL of this year's three WR. He's not as good as Clayton is at running routes, catching, or blocking, however.

His speed will in my opinion make him a first round pick in two years (he's said he's going to graduate).

There are few players I enjoy watching play more than Green. His stride is perfect, a true work of art, reminding me much of Michael Johnson's.

I dont think Green is big enough to be a #1 WR. Hes really good as a #2 or #3 WR

I think Jimbo will put Green as the #2 WR....

    #1 Amp Hill
    #2 Skyler Green
    #3 Early Doucet
    #4 Xavier Carter-Dwayne Bowe
    #5 Craig Davis

I dont know where Dwayne Bowe is going to be put....

Remember that having size is not the end all be all of making a great wide receiver. Marvin Harrison, possibly the best pure receiver in the NFL, is only listed at 6' 175 (probably generous on both accounts). Skyler Green is 5'10" 190. Receiving is more about running precise routes and having good speed than running over someone. Heck, Josh Reed was only 5'10". We all know how effective he was at LSU. :D

Skyler really only has a little more than 1 year of game experience. He is still learning and I have no doubt that by next year he will be the leader of the WRs.

We need to keep Sklyer in a slot position, we need him to be in motion.
