Saturday night, we were in Knoxville at a bar called Michael’s, which is about 10 miles west of the intersection of Phillip Fulmer Way and Johnny Majors Drive. Man, it’s no wonder UT gets good recruits. This bar was full of current and former players…most with “escorts” being assigned by four old guys sitting at a table in the “quiet room” in the back. I know Fort Knox has the gold, but this place is where they keep all the Botox and Silicone. Girls were coming up to the “old guys” to be interviewed to get into the “back room” which was private. The players, however, were coming and going from the “back room” at will. I would have loved to see what that room was all about. Towards the end of the night the players and “dates” started leaving and I noticed the bar was providing “designated drivers” for them. I didn’t even know Knoxville had a mafia. Now, granted, we were just there the one night and it could have been some kind of "special occasion"... but it sure had "the smell of dead fish" to it. Have any of you guys been to this place? Is my take on the place right? Does Baton Rouge have a place like this? I know we don't, but maybe there's a franchise opportunity. :hihi:
I'd be curious to see the police blotter after that event. No WAY did more than 45% of those "escorts" make it home safely with that crowd. When I saw the title for your thread, I thought you were going to ask about the craft store that a lot of our "significant others" spend roughly half our paycheck. I was prepared to have you banned from TF. :thumb:
