I ask because I noticed that Dandy Don added Houston Nutt and Kirk Ferentz to his poll today. I understand why he added Nutt, but I didn't think Ferentz would leave Iowa for another college job. Has anyone heard anything that would lead you to believe he might be interested? I think he would be a great candidate if he were interested.
No Luck With Ferentz While I won't say "never"...it's highly unlikely that KF will be leaving Iowa City. He is on the record as saying he wants his kids to finish school in Iowa City...which coincidentially is the same year is current contract expires...2012. He and his wife have 15 years of their adult lives invested in the Iowa City community, and he's said there aren't any jobs he's interested in currently. (of course this is before saban left). Again, I won't say "never", but I don't think its very likely. Good luck to you guys on Saturday...looks to be an even more interesting game now
