If the ASU game happens, is anyone just a little worried that LSU is playing a ranked team without a warm up game? Not to say that ASU is on our level but I think not having a good warmup game makes for a close game between LSU and ASU (with LSU winning of course) and I want a blowout. Well hope i'm wrong!

I'm not thrilled about it, but, what can we do? Coach knows what he is doing, and will have the team prepared. I put my trust in him, and the team, to take care of business.

I like the fella who suggested that we are at an ADVANTAGE because they don't have film of us...

We got a whole game to see them, and they have nothing of us...

Normally, no big deal, you just pop in last year tape...

BUT, we got a new coach, and system! :)

But to counteract, that new system, may lead to more rust than normal?

I have a feeling that this team is going to be ready to go. They don't need a warm up game. They're hungry for a game and ready to show the country that they can rebound in the face of tragedy and adversity.

I just can't help but get a feeling that both LSU and the Saints will go all the way this year.

Anytime you play a ranked team with a returning QB... and one who has a game under his belt... you run the risk of him getting "hot" and causing you problems.
Two weeks ago you were 99% a winner versus ASU... now with the schedule changes, NO, etc... you're closer to 70%.
Sorry. but being away doesn't make you stronger.
LSU will win, but you will have your hands full.

Reality check. A ranked team coming off a 50 something point blowout is not to be taken lightly. Did Sooner fans think TCU was on their level?

    Hammer--Nail--Head...... :thumb:

Arizona St. was going to be a tough team with us having a warm up game......They can only be tougher now.

Damn, every team we play don't suck azz. Arizona St. is a very good team and deserve some respect, as do many of the teams we play this year.

LSU will win, but it won't be easy........ :geauxtige

I always think we could use a warm up game.
The Tigers usually start out slow and then finish strong.
    Example?

A game would have been nice. A lot of improvement teams make happens between the first and second game. Hope the team is ready, especially mentally.
