I find it hard to believe that after everything CLM has done AND been through since he came to LSU that he would require any defending.:dis:
I wonder how this effects guys like JR and Dorsey that Saban recruited and that may go pro. Would it sweeten the pot for them to stick around and beat his sorry ass this coming fall?
With the Sugar Bowl birth, I think those numbers (for the meantime anyway) are beginning to dwindle a bit.
Look, Saban got us a NC which we have not seen in a long time and I am grateful for that achievement. But, the day he took the Phins job is the day he is no longer a tiger! Thanks Nick but goodbye. I do believe in CLM and his abilities. Will he win us a NC? I don't know, but I do know that we should all remember the Curley Hallman days (.364 winning percentage), would we like to return to that situation? NO. And Miles will not let that happen! So if Miles only wins 10-11 games a year for the next 20 years, what is wrong with that? That would put us at the top of college football for a lengthy time, I'll take that! And I agree with previous guy that it is nice to not worry about whether our coach is leaving after the bowl game! Miles seems very content to stay and continue to build our program. Thanks CLM!
The only thing I will say about Saban is that he left our program a hell of a lot better than he found it. He put LSU back on the map as a national football power. My only issues with Miles are I would like to see more fire from him and more team discipline. We'll see how the rest of the LSU vs Bama stuff plays out.
You guys ain't gotta worry about Saban...............you need to worry about hanging onto Fisher and Pelinni.
