I was looking at their ( USC )commits on Rivals and if their sizes are correct the lineman they signed are not that big. Gonna take some serious steroids to get them bulked up.

Their skill positions are the cream of their class.

I dont care who you are if you got 3 people in your face when you get the ball you aint going nowhere.

    6-4 269 OL
    6-6 280 DT
    6-4 260 DT
    6-4 268 DE

That is all the lineman on offense and defense they signed.

Alot of Stars on Skill but not a well rounded Class .

Anybody know how deep they are at returning lineman on Off and Def.

Also was looking at Texas and why as a National Champion do you go after so many 3 Stars? Did they even go after any of the talent that USC was pulling. If i am Texas you gotta think you could have pulled some of it if you tried? Dont think they used their NC on the field in recruiting very well.

I think we (LSU ) will have covered all positions except DE and QB in this class. Being stocked at those i am sure we target those in the next class.

Look good at OL , DL , LB , RB , DB , TE, and picked up a couple of good special teamers.

Anybody else have any thoughts on Who you think is #1.

I think UGA has a great class. That kid Matt Stafford is the real deal. Keeping Reshad Jones was a huge get for them.
Realistically, Florida has the best class. It is better than SC's, especially since Hazelton probably won't go to SC since his father doesn't want his son being apart of any future USC bathouse pictures with all the other "men of USC".

One thing I am glad that LSU did was sign only 1 JUCO who actually has 3 years of eligibility. And as fas as I know, we kept every instate player we offered (althogh I believe that Jai would rather play for another school).

Rating the real results of these classes wont happen for a couple years. The overwhelming majority of these freshman wont see any playing time next year and will be rookies in 2007. While I agree that signing higher rated classes in general vastly improves your chance for success if the coaches have not properly filled their needs or over estimated the talent the highly rated class wont transfer to wins on the field.

Responding about Texas and their 3 stars....Texas finished most of their class in October. They added 2-3 people after that but have pretty much been finished recruiting for months.

If ESPIN had their way, we would just go ahead now and name usc #1 in everything, from here to eternity.

They sure as hell better not get KW.

I was wondering if maybe USC is going after Williams so hard because of this billboard business. I bet they keep sweetening their deal just to screw LSU . They dont really need him they have 2 4 stars and a 5 star.

By now they have probably offered to have a 100,000 in cash , House for his family, a 3 picture movie deal , and a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

He is still holding out for the court side Laker Tickets.

Nothing USC and their low life Coach would do would surprise me !!!

Believe me, I hate to say it, but yes. If LSU posted their recruiting numbers I don't beleive anyone would argue that LSU deserved the top spot.
