Do they show Tiger games in FL (around Ft. Lauderdale) at all?

I am looking at the possibility of moving to the Ft. Lauderdale/Davie FL area in a few months (right before football season starts). I know we have at least one person from that area on here and I would like to know if I am going to have to get a satellite and the football package or if I will be cool with cable.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You're looking for OrlandoTiger and islstl but I'm sure they do. Different time zone though.

Well I have Brighthouse and can get most games on regular cable. The ones that I haven't been able to get have been on Brighthouse's basic pay per veiw. Costs like $25 for the day and you get all the games not just the LSU one. Not a bad deal considering in the last few years you haven't had to use it very often. Anymore questions?

By the way Mac I think I have you hooked up for Disney...

Thanks... If anyone knows anything about the housing situation in Davie that would be great also. But I really appreciate the help so far!

I moved after football season was over.

I doubt regional games will be shown here. ESPN/ESPN2 games of course will.

But they have a real good sports bar in Sunrise, about 15 minutes from Davie.

    That's where I'll be.

Comcast is probably the cable company in Davie. It seems to be really good in terms of sports channels. Although it doesn't carry ESPNU.

I'm a different market then Orlando but you should get all the LSU football games on TV. Gainesville (SEC market) is nearby and you should get all of them. In addition, Sun Sports/CSTV are both carried in Florida. Lots of LSU baseball and women's bball on those stations.

i recommend shuck and dive seafood restaraunt. it's owned by an LSU fan. i was there over new year's and watched the sugar bowl with about 40-50 LSU fans. they have satellite and make a big deal of the LSU and saints games. plus, the food ain't bad. it's off of us 1 or federal hwy or whatver they call it.
it was a good temporary home away from home.

Yeah I have noticed that about Sun Sports/CSTV.

They played a delayed broadcast of the women's game vs. Georgia last night.
