The writing has been on the wall the past few weeks. The team taking the field hasn't been the same dominant team that impressed the entire nation early in the season. I often wonder why folks get so defensive about criticizing a win, but we almost won again last night despite playing a less than impressive game. How many more folks would have nothing to say if we notched a W?

I question that culture, though I suppose it is human nature. I just hope that people can be more open to honest criticism and do a better job of keeping perspective after a win thanks to this loss. And I hope we, as fans, can do our part for LSU in absorbing this loss. If we truly are one of the greatest fan bases around, now is the time to prove it.

I don't have a problem with venting, though I hope we can get it out of our systems ASAP and focus more on the next game. At this point and with the way we're playing, no W is guaranteed.

Ain't that the truth. I don't know where our offense or defense went that we showed the 1st 4 games... but we're not the same team the last 3 games. I hope we get things fixed soon... but playing 8 straight before out first week off with Florida, Kentucky and Auburn in one stretch is not an easy feat.

Thank goodness it's this year and we have Auburn at home. Welcome to SEC football.
