a part of NCs other than 58? I remember reading (maybe on here) that 2 or 3 other years we one of the polls. I could be wrong. Someone help me out

i don't remember the years though and if you go to Nick Saban.net it only lists 1958

I think 1 of the other years was 1903 or 1908 or something like
that, I believe it was like a total of 3 times where it was disputed

 

If USC can claim theirs we should claim ours. I'm just kidding of course.

 

There is an article in saturday's (I think) times Picayune Sugar Bowl section that talked about it.

 

We won a part of the championship in the following years -

1962 (USC won the AP that year, Ole Miss claims this year also)

If we went by Bama standards we'd have 6 NCs.

I have nothing personally against Bama but some of those NC that claim is a joke. Just like the ones Ole Miss claim.
