Many are blaming Mauck, blaming play-calling, the O-line, whatever. The real reason for the loss-

Florida was up; their talented players stepped up and played their a*ses off.
LSU was hampered by a cumulation of small mental errors. Every time our boys made a big play- flag-penalty. Almost everyone on offense had just one or two brain farts during the game that added up to many penalties, dropped balls, not hitting the right hole, whatever. All in all we got beat by a couple of talented players on the other side of the ball AND our own mental errors. Couple of the flags went their way and some were never called for us- like running into the kicker late in the game.

    That's how I saw it.

Toss in some bad play calling. Lets face it that was a major factor
3rd and 4 and you run 2 yard routes. option on 4 and 2. Among others..

True I dont blame Mauck. True he played terribly, he will admit that but that loss was a culmination of bad penalties, poor play calling, poor offenssive execution and crowd that though figure skating was going on at the 50....

UF played well, but I will say it again LSU did not give them their best.

I watched bits of the Cox replay. Every time we strung together a couple good plays we had a bonehead penalty. I think if we eliminate those penalty it keep the momentum going instead 1st 20 is demorlizing.
