I heard on the radio this morning that Bob Odom was selected Coach of the Year in the SEC by the coaches. What the $%^. What do you have to do to get respect. John Brady was a shoe in. Sorry bad joke. Do the coaches not like Rick Stansbury. His team goes 14-2 in the SEC and wins the overall title and is ranked in the Top 10. South Carolina is 8-8 and finished with the 3rd seed in the east. I hope I heard wrong if not the SEC coaches are a joke. John Brady probably voted for Odom because he could tell a good coach from a hole in the wall.

    Did I miss something also?

Watching the SEC tourney yesterday the east seems a lot stronger than the west IMO, except for Alabama and Miss St.

Maybe we just had better matchups against Bama, I still can't figure out how we beat
    em twice.

Lets see, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss got blown out if I remember right.
Auburn also beat us twice, pretty wierd if you ask me....

USC is 3rd seed in the east and they lost something like 5 out of 6 games then
blew us out, pretty amazing stuff if you ask me...

LOL, sounds like a typical SEC season doesn't it? :)

This confirms I heard right. Wow his team goes from finishing 5th in the East to 3rd - talk about rewarding medicority. Are you serious.

    Pretty cool.

One of my good friends lived in Longmount, Colorado. I spent 3 weeks visiting him about 10 years ago. I love Colorado. I wish I had enough money to buy a winter home there.

I live here because of the weather and the scenery.
I totally have enjoyed living here, the last couple of winters have been really mild and I do enjoy watching the snow fall but our roads very seldom are bad because it warms
up and the snow goes away pretty fast.

I grew up in the south and southeast and I don't miss those hot muggy days and nights although sometimes I'd like to spend some time on a beach in Florida.
A little bit of Variety is great!

Sourdough, we might disagree on Brady and Basketball, but I do envy you for the scenery. I know it's nice up there and would love to be in your shoes sometimes. Except for crawfish and football season. Peace.

That and the 6 months of freezing weather a year. Give me Baton Rouge winters any time.
