    When asked why, he replied:
"I won't have to play against LSU in the NFL"

Good move by him. He said he needs to help his family, who still has hurricane damage. I hope he does very well at the next level, unless he goes to the Bills.

An interesting move. He coulda been a top Heisman candidate (along with Vince Young) and a top 5 pick in 2007. He'll still be a first rounder, but it may have cost him millions coming out now and not next season.

With the coaching staff turnover, it may also affect the recruits' decisions.

Hester is a great athlete but no Heisman contender. If he was that good on offense, he would have been playing that side of the ball all year. He's great in the open field on returns but not at the Reggie Bush level on regular offense.
